It's just an Ordinary Day...

Isn't it just! These past few weeks have been whirlwindish, to say the least...for the last while i have been planning to post some pics and stuff from my family's visit...and i will...later when i have some more time...but for now...well you get an update on where i'm at!
So, it's official...I'm coming back to Canada...for good, leaving Japan on April 18th...i'm still sorting it all out in my brain, i'm happy to be going to back, i've missed so many people and so many things...2 and a half years out here (not that i was counting!) but it is time to come back, so hopefully i will see lots of you soon! I bought my ticket today...
Aside from that, well, it's sunny out here, it's a beautiful spring day, the kind that makes life seem beautiful, no matter what else is happening...in a couple of hours i am going to go play pottery...there is a pottery workshop and for a sign up fee they give you some tools and you buy clay and you can go work and play...i'm gonna attempt to make some teacups, and well, who knows what else! We'll see how it goes...i'm looking forward to have something creative to do!
My fish died...i was pretty sad...poor little Lorax...i miss watching him swim around. I was thinking of getting another one, but, one of my roomies kindly reminded me she was planning on flushing him anyhow as soon as i left...he was a nice goldfish though, very cute! So, i'll have to find a new use for the fishbowl...let me know if you have any ideas...
I lost my wallet last week...boy was that ever an adventure! I dont think i will try it again anytime soon...involved entirely too much stress for my liking! The good news was that it was found and returned...the bad news is that the guy that returned it was a little strange to say the least and wanted to bring it to my house, and not the police. Luckily i have some wonderful Japanese staff at work who convinced him to turn it into the police 2 days later at his convenience, with promises i would tell the police there was no money in it and against his wishes...although he still knows where i live...he stole the money...at least there wasn't too much in there...but i got all my cards back, so life is good!
And other than that...well, i guess there really isn't too much else going on...things have been kinda crazyish lately, and i have been kinda sad about saying goodbyes, both cause i am leaving and others are leaving before me too, but, things are all feeling good again, yay! I think it's sun...i was once told i was solar powered and it seems to be true...
