In a one-time-only, guest-writer appearance comes a current roomie of the curious and infamous C-Lowe (but man, does she not like THAT name!)...
So here's a little story for all of you kidlets out there in cyber-land:
Once upon a time, a sparkly ladybug happened upon some nice brown shoes that perfectly matched a stunning brown and blue patterned skirt, hanging in the ladybug's closet. Although she was saving her magic for a trip across the globe, she couldn't resist the cuteness of the shoes and spent some of her valuable fairy-dust on them, only to ponder the rest of the evening if the purchase was justifiable. "I have to get them" she thought. "I can't wear black shoes with a brown skirt!"
Oh, to be a slave of fashion !!!!!
It's okay though, because she really wanted to get serious about the whole matter, so she just reminded herself that her wings were red and black shoes look better with red wings, regardless of the colour of the skirt. Then she took the shoes back for a full refund... and while she was back at the cute shoe mall, she came across the cutest little blue sparkle slippers...
True story.

Yay for thanksgiving! This weekend it is a 3 day weekend (only in Canadia) and to make it even better it is a weekend where we get to have a monster sized feast! On the menu is a full turkey dinner (i'm sure some of you are wondering why the vegetarian gets excited about a turkey dinner...but there are lots of other foods with no meat for me!) and in my house we also have stuffed tomatoes, maybe vine leaves (stuffed grape leaves), hummus...gotta love the Egyptian side of things! So, to all you Canadian kids out there...Happy Thanksgiving!

Decided i need to change things up a little, i liked the old blog, but it just got a little old, so, in with the new. Small problem, some of my posts can't be seen cause of the colour of the text, so, sorry...i changed some of them, should hopefully get to the rest eventually...thanks for the continued readerage...

Went to the zoo the other day with some of my students and coworkers, so here are some pictures. Don't normally go to the zoo, don't so much like to see caged up animals, but, it was free so thought it might be worthwhile but was somewhat dissappointed as there didn't seem to be a whole lot to see. Had a good time anyhow, and got some fun pictures!
